Aspirancy: Aspirancy is a time when a person who feels called to Consecrated Life comes to know the Congregation. During this time, they may live in a community and continue to peruse their work or studies.
The stage of Postulancy takes place in an apostolic or formative community within the Congregation and generally lasts a year. It is a time for the person to become familiar with the Congregation and participate in inter Postulate courses wherever possible, especially those within the Ignatian Tradition.
The Novitiate is a time to deepen one’s experience of God, become integrated in a community and participate in its mission. The novice continues to discern her vocation as she prepares to give herself to God by following Christ according to the spirit of the Congregation. It lasts two years.
The Juniorate is a time which lasts up to 9 years, to consolidate deepen and unify the call to Consecrated Life. It provides the opportunity for the Sister to live the charism of the Congregation in a missionary community and to deepen her sense of belonging to the Congregation.
